Phone calls to equine & pet classified ad customers – A new scam has been reported by some or our equine classified friends. A fraudulent phone caller is claiming to be from the billing department. They are telling customers that their order was not completed and requesting the credit card information again. This is a SCAM, and did not originate from the billing department. This is a common attempt by scammers to get your information.
Please know that we will NEVER call you and threaten to deactivate your account unless you provide us with new credit card information. Although this scam is phone based, there may be fraudulent emails as well. Here are some things to watch for:
1) NEVER SEND YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION via email to anyone. Check email address from MyHorseForSale.com. You will only recieive emails from info@myhorseforsale.com, sales@myhorseforsale.com, janerhardt@myhorseforsale.com or jan@myhorseforsale.com and lydiabagley@myhorseforsale.com.
2) If you have a question about your account call us at 405-485-4224. We will be happy to help you.
3) Check the URL address for MyHorseForSale.com… it will always start http://www.myhorseforsale.com the stallion page is http://www.myhorseforsale.com/stallionsatstud.php
