Black Merlin is a solid black cob tail Hackney pony gelding that has been shown very successfully in the Amateur and Ladies Hackney pony divisions. He is by Mr. Hawkeye, who is the sire of the 2011 Hackney Pony WGC Nabucco. He is safe to hook, trims and hauls great and stands quietly in the line up.
He has had numerous wins at shows such as Kentucky State Fair where he was the 3 yr old Hackney pony WC, Indianapolis, Asheville, Blue Ridge, J.D. Massey, Mercer County Fair, Lawrenceburg, Decatur, Southeastern, the Road Horse show, etc… He also has had reserves at the American Royal, Kentucky State Fair, and was 2nd at the 2011 Lexington Junior League.
