Wilson Ranch

Wilson's Ranch is located in Alta, Wyoming, in the shadows of the Grand Tetons, has been producing the area's finest farm products for the past century. The Wilsons are particular about their Horses. They are registered Black Morgan Horses. They are trained to Ride, drive, and Pack. They are great in the mountains or in an arena. They are great for pulling a cart, buggy or wagon. Gentle and easy to work with. In June 1888, a young man of Scottish/Irish descent named Thomas Ross Wilson, left Salt Lake City, Utah to "investigate the unknown country around Teton City, Idaho." Upon reaching Teton Basin, he made a tour of the valley and returned to Salt Lake City, determined to make the valley his home. In April 1889 he returned with his family to raise livestock and crops on the Wyoming and Idaho border, "with the towering Tetons on the east range." They realized their dream in what is now known as Alta, Wyoming.
