We are excited to announce our new 70 acre Lusitano breeding farm in St. Clair County, Alabama. We have sold all of our young stock and "under saddle" horses at the Citra, Florida, farm and we are opening a breeding farm in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in North Alabama. Our new location is close to I-59 and convenient to Birmingham, Huntsville, Atlanta, and Chattanooga. Shangrila breeding farm has been conceived with the comprehensive development of one of the world's living treasures - the Purebred Lusitano horse. The Lusitano, yesteryear's war horse, is today's modern sport horse and crossed with other breeds produces sport horses of athletic ability with great temperament, good mind, and willing attitude.. The stallion stud service offers mare owners a choice of stallions which you can view on our stallion page www.PureLusitanos.com. We offer impeccable Portuguese and Brazilian bloodlines. You can now board your mare with us for breeding and we handle everything for you. Or, if you prefer, we can ship fresh or frozen semen to your vet.
