Tracy Reynolds (shown at an early age to the right) has been involved with Appaloosas for most of her life, as have the farm's co-owners, her parents Harry and Pat Lawyer. "My parents have been in the Appaloosa business for 45 years, and it's always been a family operation," explains Tracy.
Tracy has established herself as a top competitor, as well as an intuitive instructor. "I specialize in doing the all-around, but I also really enjoy working with youth and amateur riders." Through the years, Tracy has been a top competitor, winning 13 Appaloosa World and National titles in Hunter Under Saddle. Tracy is also is a top coach, helping many youth and non pros win major titles.
The Reynolds have gradually moved toward reining Appaloosas, with guidance from Terry Thompson (shown to the left on Ima Frosty Lena during a Freestyle competition).
"I worked with Terry for four years when he was in Illinois, and he now specializes in world class reining horses," says Tracy. "He's been guiding us through the reining world; and with his help we have set up our breeding program."
That breeding program revolves around top bred stock, hand picked for proven performance.
Tracy's husband, Shawn Reynolds is a tough Non Pro competitor as well. He has been recently showing Ima Frosty Lena and Ms Gunsmokes Doll to World and Reserve World Championships. Between the two of them, Shawn and Tracy have set up a successful business that revolves around talented, athletic show horses.
