Here is a rare opportunity to obtain a stallion capable of producing Appaloosa color patterns, and striking base coat color (those hard to get and eminetly saleable buckskins, duns and palominos) combined with beautiful conformation, a strong pedigree and a wonderful disposition. Salt is a double dilute cremello and can contribut only the dilute coat color gene to the mix. He was foaled with a pale few-spot coat pattern as described by the articles published by The Appaloosa Journal in March 2007 and written by Robert Lapp and Gene Carr. Salt has Appaloosa x Appaloosa parents, a leopard pedigree and should be a 100% color producer. With his first shed, he was totally cremello. This colt is 63.3% Appaloosa and has only two non-Appaloosas in the first 3 generations. The lines he carries read like a roll call of preminent stallions from the past---Prince Plaudit (halter and performance) Deep South (racing), Mighty Bright, Bright Eyes Brother and Joker B (cattle and performance) not to mention Sully B, and the AQHA preminent sires Skipper W and King. Check out his extended pedigree on www.allbreedpedigree.com This colt is bred to perform. Salt has a small head, clean neck, correct muscling and conformation and clean straight legs. He has no stable vices, and is easy to halter and handle. He should finish at aproximately 15.1-2 and 1200#. I have and ride a full brother who is smooth gaited and kind. I also ride a half brother and know of several others. They are intelligent, athletic, and willing to learn whatever you take the time to teach them. They rope, work on ranches, drive, rein, carry pure amateurs. His full sister was exported to Great Britan. Salt will be a wonderful addition to anyone's breeding program, especially those who want color on their Appaloosas and a beautiful base coat. These pictures were taken in early May and I have others. I also have pictures of parents and siblings, please contact me for further information.
