Appaloosa For Sale in Nevada

Lyle" has been a super fun show horse for myself. But with him being related to most of our mares, we have no place to go with him. This is truely a shame as he could be a true asset to the Appaloosa breeding pool. Up until now, he's been a show horse, but at 7 years old now, he either needs to go to a breeding program, or be gelded and be a youth or non-pro horse. He is has current points in cow horse, he is a decent reining horse (was in training with Gary Roberts), and is solid on heeling behind a Hot Heels. He has been roped on on live cattle, but will need more training to be more competitive there. I broke him to drive and drove him with a sleigh as a 2 yr old, and really haven't driven him in several years. We've popped him over hunter hack fences as a filler and did well. He is 15.1, very heavy muscled, HYPP N/H, and never had any problems. He hauls well, and since he's pretty much been a show horse his entire life, he does all the normal stuff easily (shoes/clips,etc). He's a western pleasure horse at heart, likes the slow things and could probably excell at things like trail, western riding (great lead changer!) and costume. He is FPD registered as well and has current year points in FPD halter as well as aged stallions. He is priced at $4000. and will be gelded by June 10 unless contacted before that you are interested in him as a stallion.
