Big, bold, sport horse prospect! Des is a Friesian/Thoroughbred cross, registered AWS and HH. He was the 4th highest scoring AWS yearling in the US in 2008 - inspector was quite impressed with his conformation, movement and attitude! Very reasonably priced for such a quality horse - and he's sweet and loves people. Lots of ground work, ties, bathes, clips, enjoys being worked with. He is a big boy, currently about 16.1, I'm guessing he'll mature around 16.2 or 16.3, very leggy, but great bone and feet, built to stay sound. Des would be a great dressage or eventing prospect, or even a combined driving prospect - he's got a bit of knee and hock action for flashy movement. Lots of power from behind, and very bold and outgoing. He thinks nothing of galloping down steep hills, and always keeps his balance - really great for a combined training horse! Not yet started under saddle - we start them in late Summer of their 3 year old year, at which point the price will go up.
