GWS Lenas Drifter

American Quarter Horse Stallion at Stud in California

GWS Lenas Drifter is an AQHA registered 2008 Red Roan that is Homozygous for Roan and Homozygous for Agouti.  He will always throw a roan and throw a bay roan more often.  He is Freckles Playboy and Smart Little Lena X Bill Cody, Driftwood and Jackie Bee bred.  We plan to teach him as a 2 year old to mount the phantom, collect into an Artificial Vagina for Artificial Insemination and Shipped Cooled/Frozen semen across the country.  Check him out and look for him in 2010 standing here at The Lewis Ranch Stallion Station to a limited book of mares for an introductory stud fee of $500 and a booking fee of $50 that goes toward that stud fee.  

Book early, by January 1, and save $50 off his stud fee, book multiple mares or book with a friend and save another $50 each (not limited to booking to the same stallion). 

He is tested homozygous for Roan (Rn/Rn) and also for Agouti (AA) so he will always throw a roan foal and will throw bay roans when bred to mares that carry a black gene and throw it (bay, black, brown, buckskin, grulla, perlino and gray with a black base) as he will take the black and restrict it to points and then roan the base color.  

This is Drifter.  His disposition is incredible.  Sweet, gentle and willing to learn.  He is athletic and smart and we have plans to compete in cowhorse events with him.
