Veneno, imported Lusitano stallion from Brazil. He has exceptional movement, conformation, character and disposition. He makes a great cross with Quarter Horse or TB for a Sport Horse. His bloodlines are much sought after - his legendary sire, Othello do Retiro (by Dardo II) is one of Eduardo Fischer's Flagship ires and is well known as one of the world's best Perlinos. Dardo II is featured in "Veiga Horses" by Alberto Barreto. Pantera HI, his dam, has an equally impressive pedigree as her sire is the famous Afiancado do Flandes, sire of Mistral do Top. Because of Veneno's beauty and charisma, he has been featured in several 2010 and 2011 calendars, poster and DVD by the German photographer Gabriele Boiselle, magazines, advertisements, and the latest book "El Caballo Lusitano" by Spanish author Juan Carlos Altamirano. Veneno is presently working on tempis, changes, and pirouttes. He produces large foals and marks his babies with his beautiful head. We presently have a two-year old colt of his at the Farm for you to see. The breeding fee for PRE, Andalusian or Lusitano is $2000 and cross $1000. No live coverage.
