American Quarter Horse Stallion at Stud in California

GWS Lenas Drifter is a big boy...he is an AQHA registered foundation bred 2008 Red Roan that is Homozygous for Roan and Homozygous for Agouti.  He will always throw a roan and throw a bay roan more often.  He is Freckles Playboy and Smart Little Lena X Bill Cody, Driftwood and Jackie Bee bred.  He was taught as a 2 year old to mount the phantom, collect into an Artificial Vagina for Artificial Insemination and Shipped Cooled/Frozen semen across the country.  Check him out and look for him standing here at The Lewis Ranch Stallion Station to a limited book of mares for an introductory stud fee of $500 and a booking fee of $50 that goes toward that stud fee.  

Book early, by January 1, and save $50 off his stud fee, book multiple mares or book with a friend and save another $50 each (not limited to booking to the same stallion). 

He is tested homozygous for Roan (Rn/Rn) and also for Agouti (AA) so he will always throw a roan foal and will throw bay roans when bred to mares that carry a black gene and throw it (bay, black, brown, buckskin, grulla, perlino and gray with a black base) as he will take the black and restrict it to points and then roan the base color.  

This is Drifter (pictures were taken as a yearling).  His disposition is incredible.  Sweet, gentle and willing to learn.  He is athletic and smart and we have plans to compete in cowhorse events with him.
